Hi there!
I'm Laquise and I am a Licensed professional counselor in Alabama with about 4 years of experience. I received my Bachelor of Science and my Master of Science from Alabama A&M University. I have experience working in both agency and private practice settings with people of all ages who have struggled with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, life balance, relationship issues, self-esteem, body image and eating disorders.

I understand that seeking help isn't always easy and it can be very intimidating to share your issues with a stranger. My approach to therapy is to make sure you feel safe and comfortable. A therapy session to me should feel like a conversation not an interrogation; there's a flow, a direction, there may even be a few awkward pauses but ultimately my goal is for you to feel validated, understood and hopefully like you have a way to work through your issues. YOU are the expert in your life and I am the professional here to help you navigate it.
