About

I am a licensed mental health clinical counselor, working as a clinician for the past 3 years. However, I have worked in the mental health field as a case manager, qualified professional, and mobile crisis counselor for the past 15 years. As a clinician, I have served individuals, couples, and families. I have worked in a variety of settings including community, inpatient, schools, crisis and private practice. I've served individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, LGBTQ concerns, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, phobia’s, substance abuse/addiction and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and supportive. I believe in treating the person and not the diagnosis. I never call anyone I serve a client; I will only refer to a person by name or individual. I believe in empowering people to make changes in their life where they see fit, giving them the tools and a helping hand along the way. My approach to treatment is a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. However, I incorporate client-centered, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing; tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each person.

It takes courage and bravery to seek out the life that life that you know you deserve. When you and your child/adolescent are ready to walk this journey, I am here and will be with you every step of the day.
