Hello,
I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in New York and Florida. I have worked helping families for over 17 years. I have experience as a therapist working with a wide range of clients. It is my life purpose to help individuals and families that are having a rough time. It can be very difficult and at times awkward to start therapy. I totally understand and want to assure you that I am here to support you through this time. My approach is very supportive and genuine. I try my best to create a safe and inviting atmosphere where you can feel comfortable to share whatever struggles you are having. Many of my clients struggle with depression, anxiety, negative thoughts, feeling inauthentic, parent child conflicts, self-harm, mood issues and more. I prefer a wholistic lens where we can explore the whole person, not only mental health. I believe that physical, emotional, financial, spiritual and social aspects all play a key role into our well -being. We have to check in on all those areas to find the root to unhappiness, poor motivation and internal struggles. I am particularly invested in helping people of color remove the stigma of seeking therapy. I am a Christian and will be sensitive to your faith. I believe that God gave me the gift of listening, patience, humility, kindness and compassion. I use a variety of therapeutic methods including cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness therapy, solution focused therapy and motivational interviewing.
I have experience working across the entire life span. From early intervention to older adults. I’ve done it all!
