I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in Minnesota working as a therapist in many different settings since 2015. I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Masters of Science in Community Counseling with a focus on Chemical Dependency. My overall experience in the mental health field has been since 2008 in many different capacities and settings including hospitals, clients homes, residential treatment, and traditional office setting, which has provided me with lots of knowledge and experience with clients as young as 3 up to 99.

My professional therapy work with clients focused on a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, severe and persistent mental health issues i.e. schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, personality disorders, relationship issues, parenting issues, career challenges, self-esteem issues, motivation and confidence issues. I have many years of experience working with clients who have experienced trauma including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.

My style and approach to therapy is the client is the expert of their life and I am there to listen empathetically, provide feedback truthfully, and explore new opportunities for change with any situation. I use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused- CBT, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Existential, Guided Imagery and Mindfulness. In order for any therapy to work you need to empower the client and using person centered approach will provide you with an individualized treatment plan fit to your specific needs.
