Thank you for joining Find A Therapist! My name is Lacresha Reid White and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 3+ years of clinical practice with providing therapy. However, I have worked in the mental health field for quite some time. I have worked with a variety of populations, including young adult to late adults. In previous years, I have worked and advocated for more support and resources for aged out foster youth. My passion is helping others to achieve their goals and overcome obstacles. At least once a week, I facilitate a group at a local homeless shelter providing encouragement, insight, and support.

My technique or style for therapy is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy theoretical framework. I would love to provide you with more information and increase your insight regarding how these models will be effective in treatment. I have experience with severe and persistent disorders, including Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and other forms, Major Depressive Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress, and Anxiety -- just to name a few.
