Lacey Trent, LCSW, LMSW has been working in the mental health and medical field for over 10+ years. Lacey specializes in working with adolescents, children, families, and adults in areas including couples counseling, family therapy, communication, depression, anxiety, anger and stress management, mild cognitive impairment, and adjusting to life transitions. Depending on your unique strengths and challenges, lacey implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, psycho-dynamic, mindfulness, and existential-humanistic approaches. Lacey’s goal as a therapist is to help increase awareness and acceptance of your thoughts, feelings, senses, and patterns of relating with yourself and others which opens up to make healthy informed choices about whatever changes you may want to achieve. Lacey earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Fullerton. She is driven to continue to gain more knowledge and to improve her skills through the ongoing training to best serve the needs of her clients. She is currently licensed with the state of Michigan and in California. Lacey enjoys running, hiking, baking, and spending time with her family.
