I have a Masters degree in Community and School Counseling and hold credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in adolescent, adult, and family therapy and as a Special Services Provider (SSP) for schools. I have over 18 years of experience partnering with adolescents, parents, families, and individuals.

I believe that creating a safe environment for my client and developing a caring relationship is critical to successful therapy. I practice client centered, reality therapy, brief, and solution-focused therapy. I want to walk alongside my clients and help to empower them, guide them to self-discovery, develop healthy skills, and to find hope.

I have been married for 20 years and have 3 children. I've experienced the loss of a child and the impact that grief can have on relationships and on self, and I've also had experience with personal family trauma and the pressure that can put on parenting, relationships, and overall family dynamics. Being a mother, a wife, a full-time counselor, a daughter, a sister, a friend - each of my roles continue to shape who I am as a person and my personal journey.
