Nya:weh Sge:no (I am thankful for your being)! I'm Kyrie. I am a clinical social worker in AZ with over 20 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and life coach. My passion for walking alongside others as we journey throughout life together has been ever present & tremendously inspired by my strong Indigenous heritage. I value diversity, respect for self/others and authenticity. I believe that we maintain our innate perfection and ability to heal ourselves from within ourselves despite our day-to-day worldly challenges. Finally, I strongly feel that we must nourish our entire being (mind, body, emotions and Spirit) to thrive.

Although I consider myself a specialist in trauma issues, I have worked with clients across the lifespan on a broad range of needs. Some of the most common topics include life adjustments, ADHD, anxiety, chronic illness & pain, grief, depressive disorders, parenting, relationships and PTSD. My therapy style is warm, intuitive and interactive. Our sessions will utilize education, dialogue and skills building. We will strive to close each session with a mutually agreed upon homework assignment to work on until the next session. I promise it won’t be too painful and sometimes it might even be fun????. My clinical approach is eclectic however I rely heavily on concepts/skills from cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior, eye movement desensitization & reprocessing, psychodynamic and humanistic therapies. For those interested, I can also integrate spiritual knowledge and practices into your therapy as well. I enjoy learning about and experiencing how different cultures around the world approach overall wellness. I can guide you in your own exploration, so that you can cultivate a meaningful definition of wellness for you.
