Hi and congratulations on taking a huge first step in taking better care of you today! My name is Kylie Marinkovic M.Ed., LPCC-S, LICDC. I focus on a person-centered approach, in which I believe you are the expert of your life, and I am a trained professional to help you process, set, and achieve goals that are important to you. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a supervisory credential and experience, and I currently function as a Clinical Director for a multi-state mental health agency. Unlike many therapists, my career started in Primary Care, and I am knowledgeable in physical illness and disease, it’s effects on mental health, and behavioral treatments to reduce and cope with symptoms. I am also a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with experience in Medication Assisted Treatment, Trauma Informed Care, withdrawal support, craving coping skills, family dynamics and the journey of recovery in general. Whether I work with you on reducing negative symptoms of depression, anxiety, coping with illness, work-stress, trauma, relationship, or addiction issues, I start our path of treatment with Motivational Interviewing. This means focusing on your current strengths and motivation to design a best course of therapy for you collaboratively. I encourage growth, goal obtainment, mindfulness, and self-care with an eclectic therapeutic approach, and a solution-focused foundation.
