I am a License in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC). I utilize a client-centered base to approach mental health counseling, adapting to individual needs. I focus on the needs of the individual to support their internal/external relational system in a healthy and clear manner to reach overarching goals. I believe everyone has the capacity to better themselves if they're willing. For fun I love spending times with friends, exploring, traveling, relaxing with my dog (Otis), laying on the beach, listening to music, watching movies, cooking, snowboarding, yoga, blogging, meditation, drawing, and planting. I have helped those overcome substance abuse issues, explore individual identity (LGBTQ), cope with psychological/cognitive/developmental disorders, accept medical diagnoses, overcome sexual abuse/intimate partner violence, and a variety of maladaptive behaviors. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy to ensure that you are receiving the best of all modalities I am versed in. I ensure to focus on your needs and what you think is best. I am trained in Mentalization-Based Treatment for Adults, Adolescents, and children. I am also trained in Adaptive Mentalization-Based Integrative Treatment for systems.
