Hi there, I'm Kyle! Kyle Hara, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. My work aims to treat the whole person rather than just their symptoms. My focus areas of practice, which include anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, strive to meet the client where they are and collaborate on where to go from there. My approach I utilize a range of techniques to help clients cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness and develop more adaptive coping strategies. By addressing the root causes of their distress and helping clients tap into their inner strengths, my goal is to empower them to achieve lasting positive change and improve their overall quality of life. My focus I have an extensive history of working with those with severe mental illness as well as those with co-occurring substance use disorders. I am most comfortable in treating individuals dealing with mental health issues, navigating emotional dysregulation, and relationship issues. My communication style Clear and direct but done so grounded in empathy and tact. My journey to therapy I have family-lived experience with mental health issues. This work is very important to me, and I feel like it speaks to the larger mission to be involved in my community doing important work. Not everyone is going to be a good fit for every therapist. I like to think of it as the initial exploration of whether or not a therapeutic alliance can be formed.
