About

Kyle Yoder, MS, LPC My Values I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of West Virginia. I have dedicated my career to helping people in all walks of life find answers and solutions to the difficulties and hardships they face. My desire to help people is born out of the deeply held belief in the inherent worth and value of all people. I am driven by seeing people overcome long held obstacles and struggles, and helping people win at life. . My Approach My approach to therapy comes from a wide range of experiences in the mental health field. Over the years my clients have ranged from couples, families and individuals navigating the most difficult events, circumstances, and seasons of life. I also work with Individuals facing depression and anxiety, victims of trauma and abuse as well as individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness. I incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focuses therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation based upon your unique needs. I use research-based techniques to help you gain personal insights and understanding of behaviors and mindsets you would like to address. I can also do biblical/pastoral counseling for those seeking faith-based help. Hobbies and Interests When I am not working, I can be found playing with my kids and spending time with family. I laugh a lot, most often at myself and my own jokes. I enjoy physical fitness, music, hiking, fishing and watching sports, as well as doing important work in my local community. Overall, I try not to take myself too seriously so I can focus on my life purpose, which is to help others experience the fullness of life.
