Therapy is most effective when the client feels safe, understood, and accepted and I believe that a client’s trust in their therapist must be earned. I enjoy providing my clients with helpful information; having a framework for understanding one’s challenges or symptoms is an important part of addressing an issue. I like to encourage clients to become less fearful and more curious about their own stories in order to understand themselves better. By doing this, they can make thoughtful choices about their lives and relationships.

I view therapy as a collaborative process; exploring how the past informs the present while allowing trust and authenticity to foster insight and development. I strive to be radically genuine in all aspects of my life, creating a space for you do to the same.

I know how difficult it can be to navigate the normal but rocky road though life, and it does not need to be walked alone. Through compassion, humor, and gentle challenge, my priority as a therapist is to create a warm and comfortable environment in which we can work closely to identify goals and tailor our sessions to best meet your needs.
