My name is Kristy Schneider and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with children, teenagers, and adults. I have significant experience in short term crisis evaluation and counseling, but have also provided ongoing therapy as well. I enjoy both individual and family counseling with those who desire to be challenged to grow through their current life situation. I have experience treating a number of issues including but not limited to: relational stress, adjustment to change, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting issues, spiritual concerns, etc. I use a relational approach to therapy having found that when the therapeutic relationship is strong, growth and change happens more readily. I believe in working towards congruence in one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Overall, I value highly the courage it takes to enter into counseling and count it an honor to work with my clients to develop and achieve goals enabling them to be the best version of themselves.
