Kristine is an individual and family clinical therapist who has practiced for over 9 years in Washington D.C. She has wide demographic experience and has worked in a variety of settings such as hospitals, law offices, government agencies, child and family services, schools, nursing homes, and private practice. She has experience with a variety of presenting problems such as eating disorders, anxiety, executive function, grief, and attachment. She has had extensive training in trauma-informed practice, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Play Therapy. She has a deep passion for resilience therapy and the ABC paradigm in which we teach decision-making skills. Art therapy, grief, and group work are also services that Kristine specializes in including grief caused by chronic illness/invisible illness/rare diseases for both caregivers and patients. Kristine's counseling style is warm and interactive. Her approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and family work.
