Hi there, I'm Kristine. My philosophy in life is to live life knowing yesterday is gone, today is what matters, and tomorrow is out of our control. It is important to focus on life and be mindful and aware of ourselves. I use this in my practice to help my clients become self-aware and become their happiest selves. What I find most intriguing as a mental health professional is how therapy can be so empowering and life changing when the client believes and is open for a change. I believe strongly in my cultural values along with values of Social Work (respect, kindness, love, strong family values, gentleness, service to humanity, social justice, integrity, competence, human dignity and worth). The roles I play in life is of a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, licensed clinical social worker and a therapist. Someone who always has a leveled head and sees a way out. I pay attention to how I treat people in their most vulnerable times; hence, treat them as I would like to be treated.
