About

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in California with nearly 5 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have experience working with a variety of individuals and families of all ages. I am experienced in working with multiple issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem and confidence issues, relationship issues, trauma/PTSD , life stages issues, and occupational stress/career concerns.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and supportive and I place a large focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship between the therapist and client as I feel this is crucial to making successful and lasting change. I always let the client and their needs direct the therapy work itself. If what is needed is simply a safe space to talk, vent, and process, I am more than happy to provide that space. If what is needed is structure, guidance, and motivation, I am here to help! I encourage my clients to be vocal about their needs and what they hope to get out of therapy. I am accepting and supportive of all people, and honor diversity. I often utilize client-centered therapy and CBT techniques to challenge and change negative thinking patterns.
