Hello there! My name is Kristina and I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including emergency rooms, long-term care facilities, non-profit human services agencies and both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. I have spent several years working with individuals and families dealing with sudden or traumatic grief and loss. I have also headed a psychology department for a non-profit human services agency and have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in areas which include grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and parenting issues.

No one is free of stress or pain in their lives. We all experience it in one way or another. And no one person's experience is never the same as another's. Sometimes those stresses and that pain can become overwhelming. They can leave you feeling crushed by the weight of it all, or emotionally drained and unable to give anymore. This is where therapy comes in.

I believe in creating a safe space based on respect, compassion and kindness. I strongly oppose judgement or stigmatization. My approach combines client centered therapy and motivational interviewing, in addition to working with an approach that focuses on the strengths that you have. You will set the pace and you will identify the goals that you would like to achieve in your life. Together, we will focus on your strengths and identify ways that I may support you toward meeting your goals.
