I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 4.5 years of experience in providing direct mental health and behavioral counseling. I have worked with adults with a variety of mental health/behavioral presenting issues such as: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, community violence, phase-of-life problems, relationship and family issues, sexuality concerns, and many more. As a standard practice, I approach the therapeutic relationship with an acute sensitivity and respect for multi/cross-cultural factors and influence.

My experience is varied and across a wide array of settings, as I have provided individual, group and individual counseling in court mandated inpatient agency, non profit community office, assisted living facility, jail setting. I believe our belief systems strongly influence our thoughts, feelings, and actions toward many activating events in our lives and help shape us into the people we are today and the decisions we make daily. I strive to treat the therapeutic relationship, and you, with compassion, respect, and warmth.

My therapy style and approach is influenced by Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy primarily. However, it is extremely important to me to be able to collaborate with you to tailor a treatment and approach to what works best for you. Setting realistic goals is a team-effort, and together we will work at your comfort level to effectively establish and achieve goals that make sense for your life.
