Welcome! My name is Kristin, and I am so happy you are here! To begin, I think therapy is something EVERYONE can benefit from, so congratulations on taking the first step to self-help!
I have 12 years’ experience as a therapist. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor, level II (LADAC II) in the state of Tennessee. I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults within a private practice setting, as well as an inpatient psychiatric setting.
I work to empower my clients, striving to bring awareness and positivity to their daily lives. Talking with me, I invite you into a non-judgmental and laid-back space where you can be your true self, open to identifying your struggles, fears, and concerns.
When we engage in a session, I may use psychoeducation to help educate you when needed, as well as work within the therapeutic approaches of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapy. All that really means is I like to take all the knowledge I have and find what works best for YOU and for YOUR experiences!
