My name is Kristin Simone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. I have thirteen years experience providing mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. I have had the opportunity to help people with a wide range of problems, including depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, grief, and relationship and family issues.

My counseling style is warm and focuses on the client’s strengths. I believe the relationship between the therapist and client is essential to the success of the therapy. I therefore strive to provide an empathetic, non judgmental environment, where you can feel safe to express your thoughts and feelings. My approach is a combination of supportive therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution focused therapy. We will work together to tailor interventions that will meet your needs.
