One of the main reasons that I work in this field is my own personal experience with a counselor who changed my life. Counseling is hard work but it is the gamechanger for many and I want to know that I helped someone make that change. Life experiences have taught me that our connections and relationships with others is what can pull us through the tough times. I hope that I can be that support for others and provide that opportunity of change that was provided for me.
