I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 7 years of professional work experience. For your treatment, my hope is that you gain a new perspective, skills to cope with life's stressors, and the ability to challenge negative beliefs that no longer serve you. I understand how difficult it can be to seek help, and I am here to support you in your healing process. My approach My therapeutic style is tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. I utilize a foundation of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and integrate a person-centered approach because I believe that the most significant and effective growth of an individual happens during self-exploration, and my job is to be the guide. Some of the modalities I incorporate into my practice include dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused CBT, and mindfulness techniques. My focus I have worked with clients to help them heal and cope with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. I have experience treating adult and adolescent clients with diverse cultural backgrounds who deal with grief, conflict in relationships, and work/school stressors, among other challenges.
