I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of counseling experience. I have a passion for working with individuals, families and couples who are seeking change and feel they are stuck with where they are. I believe that we can all find a way through our situation with a little motivation and guidance. I feel my job, as your therapist, is to provide you with the direction you need in order to find your way through the forest of your life. I enjoy working with issues of depression, anxiety, stress, grief, relationships, parenting, wellness and life transitions through a variety of counseling styles (including: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused and Humanistic).

I approach each session with warmth, kindness and a freedom to express what is truly on your heart. I believe that we all need someone to listen and motivate us to make change. I tailor each session to each individual client knowing that not everyone reacts the same to life. We are all different, and, thus, we respond differently to things around us.

In our first session you will find that I remove the stigma of counseling. It is my goal, that in our time spent together, you don't feel like it's a counseling session, but instead, a place where you can freely vent your true thoughts knowing you won't be judged and leave feeling different. You will leave with a hope that things can and will change with a little bit of work.
