I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have worked with adolescents and families in the Phoenix area for the past 18 years. I have worked with families who are in various stages of life transitions and enjoy helping both teenagers and their parents communicate and build upon their strengths. I have experience in faith based settings and partnered with a Christian ministry to develop resources to help adolescents heal from abuse.

My approach in counseling is to be client centered - that means that I want to help you feel comfortable and cared about so that I can support you in setting and meeting your goals. I use a cognitive behavioral approach and solutions focused brief therapy as a way to help support you in the changes you're looking to make. I have found that an online format for counseling is best used for general, supportive counseling and psycho-educational services. I will provide a safe place to express yourself, receive feedback, and set some goals to improve your mental/emotional well-being.
