About

Hi! My name is Kristi and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am passionate about creating a safe therapeutic experience for every individual. My approach My approach is attachment-based, compassion-focused, and insight-oriented. Our past is not our fault, but how we choose to move forward is within our power. I am passionate about meeting each individual where they are at, to help grow a deeper awareness of self, with the goal of finding a sense of freedom and self-direction in the way you choose to live your life. Whether short or long-term, I believe stepping into therapy takes a lot of courage and I value the opportunity to walk alongside individuals as they find their truth without all the noise of the world around them. My focus I focus my work on individuals who are new to the idea of therapy, young professionals experiencing burnout in the social service/education field, and I specialize in working with parents/caregivers supporting children in foster care. General anxiety, depression, and grief are common experiences that we work through in our sessions. My communication style I believe that every individual is the expert over their own lives. I guide and support my clients based on the different needs they bring to each session. Whether it’s a space to talk, a space to breathe, or a space for encouragement and validation, I will follow the lead of whatever my client needs. My journey to mental healthcare Therapy has always been a huge part of my life. Therapy is where I found my voice and my safe place. I am passionate about creating a similar space for others as well. During the day, I am a social worker for youth experiencing foster care, homeless, and trafficking. I see coworkers, parents, and professionals all around me dealing with burnout and compassion fatigue.
