Hello. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon where I now reside, though I have lived in California for most of my life. While I specialize in working with young adults, I also have experience working with other age groups as well, focusing on such issues as anxiety, identity, relationships, life transitions, stress, anger management, depression, trauma, and many more. Since 2010 I have been working in the mental/behavioral-health field, having provided counseling, case management, group home supervision, and quality assurance for various mental health programs, in addition to teaching occasional psychology and counseling-related courses.

My approach to counseling comes from a caring, collaborative, and holistic framework. I view my role as a nurturing guide whose mission is to help others heal, think differently, and reach their goals, whatever they may be. I believe in focusing on one’s strengths and available resources to inspire creativity, empowerment, and foster change. Depending on the person and situation, I like to explore with and utilize various tools including but not limited to those based in cognition, mindfulness, nature, art, expression, experience, nutrition/health, and movement. I work with my clients (not for them) and I encourage any and all feedback throughout the process.
