I am a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of Missouri with 5 years of experience providing therapy. I completed my doctoral training in the state of Hawaii. On the island of Oahu, I worked in an outpatient hospital, in community mental health with individuals displaced from their homes, in community mental health with individuals on conditional release from an inpatient mental health facility, and in a women's prison. In Missouri, I worked for a non-profit organization that provides mental health care (i.e., therapy and psychiatry), primary care services, and dental care.

I have worked with individuals with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, family/relationship issues, self-esteem issues, self-harm (e.g., cutting), grief, and homelessness. In my experience, mental health symptoms are one of many considerations in the treatment process. Other considerations include physical health, safety, living situation, social support, finances, spirituality, and overall sense of well being. I work collaboratively with each client to determine individual needs and to provide the best care possible.

Mental health counseling can be a valuable tool for individuals who are struggling. Each of my clients' experiences are unique and significant. My ultimate goal is to assist and support you in improving your quality of life and being able to conduct life challenges independently.
