About
I graduated with my Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2015 after completing a research practicum at the Minneapolis VA on PTSD and Intimate Partner Violence. I also completed an assessment practicum and a counseling and assessment internship. I worked as a psychometrist and counselor for nearly five years before transitioning to online assessment work at the Minneapolis VA. At the end of that project, I began contributing as a social skills coach for IRLSocial Skills, working with individuals and their families effected by autism. I am also the Membership Chair for the Minnesota Counseling Association. Before qualifying in counseling, I earned my MS in Molecular Biology in 2001 from the University of Florida College of Medicine and taught lab classes for several years at my local university. I began Therapy Dynamics PLLC in 2021 as an online therapy practice in Minnesota. My mission is to provide quality therapy to those who need it. I provide autism assessments remotely for adults, and specialize in working with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, posttraumatic stress disorder and individuals with autism who are interested in learning relationship and friendship building skills. I also teach assertiveness and anger management. One of my strengths is working with couples on communication, trust, and intimacy. It is time for you to wake up rested after a good night’s sleep, to feel confident in your ability to face your daily challenges, and to feel the freedom that comes from taking care of your personal needs. Contact me and let's take the first steps together.
