About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor practicing in the state of Texas. I have 21 years of experience working with a variety of clients in both inpatient psychiatric and outpatient community mental health settings. I've worked with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a wide range of issues related to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, mood swings, relationship problems, grief/loss, and physical and emotional trauma.

I believe in holistic treatment, considering the cognitive, emotional, physical, and relational needs of each unique individual. My therapeutic approach is cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and person-centered, focusing on recognizing behaviors and triggers and creating positive coping skills. My counseling style is sensitive, compassionate, and non-judgmental.
