Hello! Thank you for visiting. Please let me introduce myself! I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2009. For over ten years I have worked with clients from all different backgrounds, in different settings, including, but not limited to private practice, substance treatment facilities, school settings and nonprofits. My main interest is in helping you achieve your goals at your own pace, in a way that makes sense for you. I strongly value my ability to build a positive, trusting relationship in which we can work together through whatever challenges you may be facing. I believe in setting collaborative goals with my clients to help them with their areas of need, while empowering them to use their strengths to overcome difficulties. I have extensive experience in working with women, couples and young adults. My specialties include relationship improvement, overcoming communication barriers, adjustment to life transitions, managing stress and anxiety, health/wellness coaching and personal growth and insight. My theoretical approach is eclectic and is individually tailored to my client's needs. I primarily use cognitive behavioral, solution focused, person centered, motivational interviewing and mindfulness techniques in my practice. It takes strength and courage to seek counseling, and I look forward to working with you!
