About

Hello! I am a wilderness and adventure-loving mountain enthusiast living in Montana and have over 20 years of experience as a therapist and coach. In my work I model a way of being in life that serves to strengthen my clients resilience, determination, self-belief, compassion, autonomy, belonging, and sense of curiosity. I approach therapy and coaching from a space of openness and intentionality, with a team orientation. Working together, we are partners in shifting your energy and behavior so you can feel more vibrant, integrated, and unburdened in your life! Every individual's experience varies, and it is the complexity of our lives that brings hope for rebuilding. My work combines family system's theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and embodiment work, internal family systems, acceptance and commitment, and shame resilience theory. I am highly skilled in the areas of eating psychology, body image, and disordered behaviors with food, and my primary interests and skill lie in supporting individuals who desire to know themselves fully, who want to reclaim their voices, integrate all the parts of themselves, and live from their most authentic, whole-hearted energy. Many of us are living from our woundedness, protecting and hiding what we often learned in the early stages of our lives was not okay to express but that deeply needs our advocacy and acceptance! I've been professionally trained not just as a therapist but also as a coach with people who want to learn how to develop a more connected relationship with themselves. I am also trained as a mindfulness meditation instructor and utilize mindfulness principles extensively in my work. I view everyone as inherently healthy and capable of change and healing. I utilize a positive psychology and motivational interviewing framework to focus on your capacities and strengths to help you build more skillful ways of interacting with yourself, with others, with your emotions, and your mind!
