Thank you for taking the first step to creating intentional space for yourself. Vulnerability, exploration, learning new skills, facing past hurts, and living authentically can seem challenging at times. Change can be challenging, yet bring the brightest rewards and create endless possibilities for living the life you choose. I am a human who loves to learn multiple techniques, tools, activities, and approaches to be able to offer a large toolbox full of skills for each person I serve. This in turn allows them to collaboratively create their own recipe to navigate life’s rhythm and walk through life the way they choose. My goal is to provide an inviting, non-judgmental, culturally sensitive space for clients to step away from the real world to focus on what is necessary for their needs, voice, and growth. I have experience working with teens and young adults experiencing issues surrounding childhood trauma, engaged, or previously engaged in foster and judicial systems, sexuality, and transition to adulthood. I have experience working in England with those experiencing substance use issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health symptoms. Lastly, I have worked with women and couples with relationship difficulties, domestic violence, attachment struggles, and everyday experiences. I love not only the deep sessions to create understanding, processing, and relief, but also the celebratory sessions to create comfort and contentment within oneself and current strengths and self-love acknowledgment. My certifications include EMDR and Yoga Therapy training, which can be incorporated into therapy sessions. Along with these certifications, I use theories to include Narrative therapy, CBT, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment theory. In sessions, modalities such as art, music, mindfulness, and grief and loss work can be infused to help promote further exploration, empowerment, and expression of self.
