I understand how intimidating and overwhelming it can be to walk in and "bare your soul" to a stranger. I believe that finding a therapist you feel comfortable with and that you feel a connection to is crucial to a positive therapy experience. I believe in meeting people where they are at and that by doing so, I am empowering them to guide their own healing and recovery.

My areas of focus include perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (pregnancy/post-partum), anxiety, depression/mood disorders, suicidal ideation, self-injurious behaviors, self-esteem issues, stress management, life transitions, relationship issues, family of origin issues, parenting skills, and women's issues. My approach to therapy is from a strengths-based perspective that is centered around helping clients feel respected, valued, and understood. My work is enhanced by my ability to shift my treatment approach to that which best fits each of my clients.
