It takes a lot of courage and strength to explore something more for our life than what we know in this moment but I believe we can become stronger by our choices and what we do one day at a time . I believe connection with others happens when people feel seen, heard, and valued. I have witnessed that through the building of coping skills in a safe and supportive environment, we can live according to one's goal, values and build a life worth living. As Brene Brown puts it '“ Our job is not to deny the story, but to defy the ending—to rise strong, recognize our story, and rumble with the truth until we get to a place where we think, Yes. This is what happened. And I will choose how the story ends.”

I am a Clinical Social Worker with 4 years plus in providing person centered holistic outpatient therapy. I use : coping skills development and supportive coaching,
trauma informed mind-body cognitive behavioral techniques to foster consumers’ symptom management skill building once a sense of safety and control is established.
validation and change strategies to embrace self-acceptance and increase motivation for making progress towards recovery and self-discovery.
I use motivation interviewing, solution focused interviewing techniques to assist consumers with their goal setting, goal achievement, maintenance and relapse intervention.

Service Population adolescents (13- 18 years old), adults in the session format of individual, couple, and family therapy.

I have experience in providing therapeutic services for various conditions and challenges:
Adjustment disorder / Readjustment Challenges, pain management (non-pharmacological interventions), work stress , addictions, emotional eating, relationship issues, traumatic bereavement (homicide/suicide/sudden unexpected death), mood disorder including panic disorder and conversion disorder/ pseudo-seizures.
post-traumatic stress syndrome- occupational (Military, First Responders).Post –traumatic stress syndrome (abuse or assault/neglect)
Bipolar, Borderline personality disorder, Schizophrenia/ Schizo- Affective disorder and hyperstimulation/ fatigue (HPA Axis deregulation)
