About

I am a Mental Health Counselor, licensed in the state of New York with over 4 years of experience providing psychotherapy and behavioral healthcare services. I am also a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. I often work with individuals looking to manage symptoms of past trauma, depression, and anxiety. I also often assist individuals with their personal and professional development. If you are familiar with some of the various approaches to counseling, you might recognize ones I often use with my clients -- such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and others. I try to take an eclectic approach, unless there is a specific intervention which has significantly helped in the past. It’s incredibly important to me that I provide client-centered treatment, and my clients feel like the time we spend together is a collaborative process they can benefit from.

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and have extensive experience providing services within this community.
