Hi! I'm Kim Naraine and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) residing in California. I provide virtual individual therapy sessions for all those living in the same state. I work with a wide range of ages and specifically focus on providing collaborative care to my clients. I enjoy providing skills and solutions while teaching how to honor emotions. My approach My passion is to connect with people in a way that makes them feel seen and heard. I'd describe my therapeutic interaction as casual and informal. However, the therapy modalities used in my practice are all evidence-based. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-CBT (TF-CBFT), and DBT-informed approach. I believe that therapy is a unique space for emotional healing and mental processing. My focus In my experience, I find that my approach tends to be a good fit for an estimated age range of 16-45 who may be dealing with the challenges of childhood trauma, life transitions, interpersonal relationship issues, and broader issues relating to identity. I've worked with a wide variety of mental health disorders and feel very comfortable with working with the following: Depressive disorders, Anxiety disorders, Trauma disorders/ history, Stress-related disorders, Bipolar Disorders, and Schizophrenia/Schizoaffective disorder. My communication style When working with me, you can expect someone who genuinely wants to connect and build a strong therapeutic relationship. I highly value creating a safe and judgment-free space. Although, I don't mind challenging perspectives and helping you see things from a different light. My goals for you I strongly believe in collaborative goal setting.
