Therapist | LMHC: I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of collaboration. A therapist and client need to work together to help the client achieve their goals. Through a client-centered approach, I provide my clients a safe environment to share their thoughts and feelings. We will explore the issues on hand together and identify opportunities to help the them meet their goals. I provide my clients the tools to help them move forward and live a happier life. My Professional Background: I obtained my Master's in counseling at Alabama A&M University and am currently a Doctoral Candidate at Barry University. Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in a community setting providing counseling to youth and families since 2017. I have many years of training and experience as a trauma and grief therapist. I have worked with clients that have been victims of both individual and communal traumas. I also help clients that struggle with anger, stress, depression, medical issues, depersonalization/derealization, and family conflicts.
