I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with 15 years of service in the social work field. My background includes working with the HIV/AIDS population, LGTBQ+ and BIPOC communities, as well as in the medical social work field. I have also facilitated teen behavioral and adult support groups. Some of the techniques I use in therapy sessions are Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Strength-Based therapies and Solution Focused. These technique have been effective in helping clients dealing with anxiety, chronic illness, grief, and life transitions.
