Hello again and THANK YOU for your interest! As you read through this, you will see that I am able to assist you with a wide variety of challenges. But first, I'd like you to know a few things about me and how I work.
The key to successful outcomes is establishing a strong therapeutic alliance, regardless of what theoretical orientation a therapist uses.
I want you to know, that as an Existentialist AND a Person Centered therapist the authenticity of the therapeutic alliance is TANTAMOUNT to our work together.
This means that while I hold to the belief that there are 4 Ultimate Concerns in Life, my job is to be as genuine and authentic with you as I hope for you to become as well.
Next, I am very well versed in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which is a highly specialized skill set for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, impulse control and interpersonal communication. I cannot think of ANYONE who would NOT benefit from these skills. So let me share them with you so you can see for yourself how much they will improve the quality of your life, as well as the lives of those around you!
Lastly, I want you know that I use a blend of traditional, evidence based treatment models in combination with Positive Psychology.
What this means, is that I take the very best of traditional psychology to reduce or eliminate your symptoms and then take it once step further ... to focus on everything that is RIGHT with you with Positive Psychology, so you can then step into your new, healthy self ... come into your own authenticity and begin a new life where you are not only relieved of or managing your symptoms but THRIVING and LIVING you very best life!
