Hi! I am so happy that you have the courage to reach out. I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. I earned my MSSW at The University of Texas and a BA in English from The University of New Mexico. I have a background working with teens, young and mid-adults. I have a special interest in teen counseling, working with advocates and change makers and first responders. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders. substance abuse issues, identity issues, relationship issues and trauma-related care. I do not believe in a one-size-fits -all approach. Each person comes to counseling with their unique story and personality. I want to get to know you and start where you are. I like to use an electic combination of tools that come from ACT, CBT, MBCT, Person-Centered and strengths-based modalities. We can create a solid foundation from which to go on this journey as I walk beside you. I have lived in three countries and have many life experiences that have made me nonjudgmental and open. I love going to see live music, volunteering, reading, learning and going on road trips.
