Hello and welcome! I am a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois with 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, depression, co-occurring disorders & coping with life changes I have worked in the inpatient, residential. Detox inpatient and individual outpatient therapy setting. I work with my clients to create a comfortable, open and safe environment. I am a transparent person and I bring that approach into session. I believe this helps to ensure that each client feels their time is well spent in therapy and leave the session feeling that the content discussed was beneficial to them. Outlining short term and long term goals promotes structure in the session and the client is able to identify an agenda but one that is attainable and realistic to achieve.
