Hello! My name is Kim Smith, and I am a certified school counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I support clients through their crises, trauma, and other mental health issues. I believe greatly in the therapeutic relationship as a defining factor in the success of therapy. I will provide a safe and supportive place for all ages and presenting problems to express their feelings and collaboratively journey through the process. I, as the counselor, act as a facilitator on the counseling journey of the client. We collaborate to set goals and find techniques and skills to help clients achieve those goals. As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, I use psychoeducation and modern techniques to help clients work through their anxiety issues. My primary concern is to offer a compassionate and caring approach to clients.
