I am licensed in Ohio as a licensed professional clinical counselor. I have been in practice since 2005 when I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Master’s in Counseling. I have worked in the school system for an outpatient mental health clinic and was the Director of a comprehensive addictions counseling center. My primary therapy orientation is person-centered since I firmly believe that a solid therapeutic relationship is paramount for client growth. I maintain that therapy should be an authentic experience, and the client’s need to be heard, valued, and understood is primary. I enjoy helping individuals find motivation within themselves to change their lives, situations, and relationships for the better. I assist individuals in identifying the choices they can make in their own lives to reach their goals. I have done work with clients involving career paths, self-esteem/self-confidence, coping skills, life transitions, and everyday issues. My passion lies in assisting people in finding their authentic selves and improving their relationships. In individual counseling, whether one’s unhappiness stems from mental health issues or life circumstances, it is my goal to aid folks in weeding through their thorns to gain clarity and inner peace.
