If you are currently feeling off balance and can’t seem to find your footing, the good news is that you don’t have to figure it out alone. I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and completed my formal educational training at Fresno State University in 2013. I continued my training at an inpatient perinatal substance abuse program treating children, adults, couples, and families, and continued to work there post-degree. Specific areas of treatment included trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and co-dependency. My leading theoretical approach lies in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) due to its effective teaching and action-oriented components. While CBT is highly effective, I am also keenly aware that there isn’t a “one size fits all” approach, therefore the treatment I provide is tailored to my clients’ unique needs which is determined through ongoing assessments and collaboration. I welcome my clients with a warm, accepting, and non-judgmental space to begin their journey toward healing. I believe that true progress comes from working collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and begin building a “tool chest” of coping skills to move forward in life. With time, clients eventually learn they are resilient and inevitably hold the key to their own happiness.
