About

Change is something we all experience – the inevitable part of life. Though we’re all required to experience it, it is often a stressful, strenuous, confusing process. Through my coursework and personal experiences, I have witnessed the real power to change that we have. This knowledge inspired me to become a therapist: My passion is to guide, assist, and support clients in recognizing and utilizing their greatest potential for change. As an integrative therapist, my therapeutic techniques and approach stem from a combination of theoretical approaches. I use my knowledge and rapport with my client to build a specific plan of treatment. My integrative approach focuses in existential and person-centered therapeutic techniques. I strive to facilitate restoration and well-being by helping clients utilize their undiscovered strengths. I strive to provide a safe and comfortable space to compassionately challenge you to discover your most authentic self and be empowered with your choices. Throughout our healing journey together, I maintain the belief that you are the expert on your life, and I am collaborating with you. I create space for open dialogue and provide unconditional positive regard as you grow and improve. I will collaborate with you to develop goals and work through strategies that will allow you to lead a happy, healthy, progressive life! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over six years of experience counseling children, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups. I have worked in various settings to include outpatient and inpatient facilities, psychiatric hospitals, private practice, schools, treatment facilities and jails and prison. I am well-versed in a multitude of environments, populations, and mental health issues. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas (77111). I obtained my Master of Education in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
