Hi there, I'm Khair! Hello, my name is Khair Fatima, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist committed to helping others learn how to cope with life challenges. My work focuses on ineffective behaviors, habits, and beliefs and replacing them with effective coping skills. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. I am currently trained in Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Managing and Adapting Practices. I am client centered passionate about helping clients reach their potential and have a life worth living. My current client population includes clients that experience emotional dysregulation, anxiety, childhood trauma, family conflict, school challenges, difficulty communicating with others effectively, and disruptive behaviors. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment for clients to feel heard and understood. When working with you, clients have experienced compassion and empathy. I approach goal setting collaboratively with clients based on their symptoms and behaviors and the overall expectations of treatment. The first session is dedicated to rapport building, understanding symptoms and behaviors, creating goals, scheduling, and overall expectations of treatment.
