My name is Kevin Phillips, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in Reality Therapy. My practice is focused on adolescents, young adults, individuals, and couples. My approach I utilize an eclectic approach, borrowing useful techniques and interventions from multiple modalities. I primarily focus on reality therapy. My focus I work with adolescents struggling with behavioral issues, as well as young adults and individuals suffering from depression, anxiety and other issues. I also work with couples seeking help with relationships difficulties. My communication style I am direct in my approach, and non-judgmental. You should expect the truth in love with compassion when working with me. My journey to mental healthcare I have always had a helping spirit about me. After a long working life of a great variety of occupational experiences, I made a career change into a field where I believe my God given gifts are fully utilized. My goals for you Goal setting is collaborative, but client directed goals are the most successful. My first session with you Clients should expect to share their reasons for seeking therapy and what they are hoping to accomplish. The first session is a time for gathering information and getting to know each other a little to begin to establish a warm, therapeutic relationship.
