I was born and raised in the Flint, Michigan area. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in 1995, and went on to complete a Master of Arts degree from the Center for Humanistic Studies in Detroit, Michigan in 1997, as well as a Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2002.

I utilize an eclectic, individualized, tailored approach in therapy to help you achieve your specific treatment goals. I will help you identify, get in touch with and harness your inner strengths throughout the therapy process.

I am a psychotherapist with over twenty-seven years of clinical experience. I hold four college/university degrees and have taught at the college level.

I have extensive experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including: inpatient (psychiatric, general medical and chemical dependency detoxification), partial hospital, intensive outpatient and traditional outpatient. I work with child, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations with an extensive variety of mental health and substance use issues.
