Hi, I’m Kevin. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience working in the mental health field. I’m passionate about helping my clients come to a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships with others, their perception of life and the world, and discover how to move forward on their own path into an ever expanding sense of connectivity, meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. My approach I draw from a wide variety of psychological theories and philosophical orientations from both Eastern and Western approaches to consciousness, mind, and the self including: humanism, psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, somatic therapy, spiritual awakening, developmental models, and other spirituality and meaning-making focused modalities. That’s a bunch of fancy words, but first and foremost I meet you human to human, heart to heart, and in a space of nonjudgmental acceptance of who you are and then we discover together what needs to happen for you to transform and grow into more freedom, love, confidence, effectiveness, and happiness. My focus I love working with highly sensitive, curious, and self-reflective people. I have a lot of experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, existential issues, spirituality issues, sexual issues, and foundational identity issues (really getting at who you are, what you want, and how you operate). Maybe you’ve done a lot of therapy and healing work previously or maybe not, but you have a sense that there is so much more to life than what you’ve been experiencing but you’re not sure how to “get there.” No matter the issue, my focus tends to be on your core sense of self/identity and the quality of the relationship you have with yourself, as that impacts everything else. My communication style I’m relatively nonjudgmental and compassionate. I think my presence is relaxing and non-threatening.
